Hadraba, Jiří ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis with resolution of technical and partially economical project of combustion exchanger of cogeneration unit for application of absorbing cooling. Considered types of exchangers are: combustions/water and combustions/steam. The other capitols include the description of cogeneration, trigeneration and other possible resolutions of intersections among mentioned systems; general overview of plant oils used as a fuel in energetics, particularly in compression engines in technology of combined production of electricity and heat.
Energy supplies fairgrounds
Foit, Vladimír ; Skála, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The diploma thesis titled Energy supplies fairgrounds is divided into four parts. The first part is devoted to the theory of sources of froze and heat energy. The next part deals with current condition of energy supplies of fairgrounds. The third part is based on the design of possible adjustment of energetic management for both the whole compound and partial objects. The last part sums up all the adjustments and evaluates all the real variants by closer economic analysis.
Trigeneration
Hadraba, Jiří ; Chroboczek, Libor (referee) ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is the recherche dealing with cogeneration and trigeneration consecutively. There are described prevailing primary units designated to the transformation of the energy of the fuel in cogeneration units to electricity and heat. The next chapters are dedicated to the absorbing and compression machine cooling. There are also analysed the possibilities of the heat accumulation and the influence of trigeneration on the enviroment.
Fuel cells
Ralbovský, Peter ; Škvařil, Jan (referee) ; Chroboczek, Libor (advisor)
This bachalor’s thesis deals with a fuel cells technology, their principle and division. There’s also describes how to obtain hydrogen from natural gas as fuel. Furthermore, there are advantages and disadvantages of fuel cells. At the end of the work there are applications of fuel cells and their use in cogeneration and trigeneration.
Trigeneration
Vítek, Stanislav ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is present procedure and advantages of cogeneration and trigeneration. There are described primary cogeneration units which transform energy contained in fuel to required form of energy. Another part of the work deals with comparison of cooling technologies, namely vapour-cycle and absorption cycles. At the conclusion of the bachelor thesis, the economic assessment is present for all considered for cooling systems with reference to durability of the system.
Trigeneration in building complex Technicka 2
Sukup, Jan ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with electricity, heat and cold production and describes ways of their simultaneous production – trigeneration. The main intention is to describe the ways of cooling the A1 building which is used by The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. There is a Vapor compression cycle, a One stage absorption cycle and a Two stage compression cycle designed for cooling A1 building. This thesis includes suggestion for suitable commercial units for the purpose of cooling and a comparison of their running costs. An economic analysis is also included. Another part of the thesis is the design of a one stage absorption cycle connected to cogeneration units placed in The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering campus. The condenser of this cycle is also designed.
Cold production and trigeneration
Jordanov, Alexandr ; Toman, Filip (referee) ; Kracík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is recherché dealing with cool production. The aim of this thesis is present the main cooling system, their comparison, practical realisations, describe laws, which should cooling systems accomplish and assess influence on the environment. The first two chapters are about cogeneration and trigeneration. The main part of the thesis is focused on different methods of cooling, their advantages, disadvantages and their influence on the environment. Because of refrigerants in cooling systems, which have negative impact on health and environment, is part of the thesis dealing with law. At the conclusion of the bachelor thesis is the assessment of cooling systems and their forward-looking perspective present.
Autonomous energy systems
Dolinský, Filip ; Poláčik, Ján (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
Master thesis deals with usage issues of autonomous, self-sufficient and decentralized systems. In the first part convectional and experimental sources for autonomous systems are disclosed. Second chapter deals with accumulation of electrical and thermal energy and possibilities of applications. 3rd part is focused on pilot project realized for autonomous and smart systems, which were built in last years. In the 4th chapter electrical and thermal energy consumption curves are made on daily and monthly basis for 4 type objects. In the fifth part issue of autonomy is explained, and for type buildings solutions are made with additional return on investment. The last chapter is focused on calculation of thermal accumulator and briefly discloses small district heating.
The optimization of electricity, heat and cold supply for a service building
Komárek, Luboš ; Máša, Vítězslav (referee) ; Pavlas, Martin (advisor)
This thesis is aimed at the optimization of electricity, heat and cold supply for a service building. The profiles of electricity, heat and cold consumptions for a specific building are incorporated in the case study. The main aim is focused on the qualification of the potential of the incorporation of technologies for energy production and conversion for the building namely the cogeneration and trigeneration technologies.
Absorption chiller
Najbrtová, Zuzana ; Bouchal, Patrik (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
The master thesis on the Absorption chiller is devoted to the dimensioning of the operating points of the absorption chiller cycle. The thesis is based on the required realistic parameter such as cooling capacity, temperature of the chilled fluid and temperature of the driving hot water. The proposed duty cycle is single stage with two heat recovery exchangers, one between weak and rich solution, and the other between liquid and gas refrigerant. The working fluids of this cycle is ammonia and water. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part summarizes the basic knowledge of absorption cooling, including an explanation of the principle of trigenera-tion in which the proposed unit is to operate. The practical part deals with the actual design and calculation of the operating points, parameters of the secondary working fluids and the performance of the devices themselves. The calculation is compared with the real absorption units and the compressor unit.
